Gingham Gardens | My Mind’s Eye – Morag Cutts
Hey there Magpies. I have been creating with the totally gorgeous Gingham Gardens this month. My Mind’s Eye was the first manufacturer that I fell in love with, so I’m thrilled that they’re back with such stunning collections this year.
Aqua blues paired with the peach/coral of the flowers is a winning combination for me! Combined with the pretty patterns makes the collection so easy to use.
I hand cut scallops at the bottom of the pretty Birdie paper to add a bit of interest and combined it with Hannah paper. Fussy cut flower clusters from the Savannah paper are a perfect size for an embellishment.
The Mixed Bag die-cuts has lots of cute elements. To draw the eye around the page, I clustered some on the top left corner.
The die-cut little envelope is a little bit fo fun. I do like to add an interesting element if I can.
The gingham papers are great for creating frames. I brushed some acyrlic paint onto my background – Ali Edwards Columbia acrylic paint is perfect – soft blue. I then stamped on top randomly.
You will probably want two of the stunning Amanda paper because it is just so pretty – stroke 1, cut 1!
Finally I added a cluster to the top left hand side of the frame using more die-cuts from the Mixed Bag and Planner Stickers.
It is worth taking a closer look at this stunning collection – the collection pack is great value for money and each double-sided paper is stunning.
Thanks for popping in.
