Games of Cones | Fancy Pants Designs | Jackie Ashton

Hi Magpies, Jackie here for my 2nd blogpost for the month.  I would like to start by thanking you  all for taking part with the teams NSD challenges, especially all the entries for my sketch challenge, you have all been really busy and it was great to see the variation of styles.

For this layout I am using Fancy Pants Designs – Cherry on the Top.  

Game of Cones

I just love the Fancy Pants Designs – Cherry on the Top – Waffle Cone paper  ice cream paper, that I’ve added down the middle of this page.  So decided that I needed to make another layout featuring ice-cream and found the perfect one from 2018 when we visited Bristol for the 2nd Gromit hunt and found ‘Game of Cones’ at the train station.

The layout is very simple and was easy to put together.  

I mainly used my scraps from this collection which worked really well for this layout.

The thickers are from my stash.

I used the 2nd of the felt ice-cream embellishments on this layout.

And added a few pieces from the die cut collection.

I loved working with the collection as it was something different.  I did two layouts with an ice-cream theme but the collection is very versatile for everyone layouts.
