Game On | Photoplay Paper – Gamer | Amy Kattenbelt

Hi Magpies, Amy here again today sharing another layout that I’ve created using Photoplay papers Gamer collection. This week I am documenting a photo of my son’s playing on their PCs. As you might already have guessed by the name of the collection, its perfect for these kinds of photos.

To create this layout I first used some black acrylic paint, to apply thick dry brush strokes down the centre of my layout. I then watered down the paint and added some drips. Leave to dry before assembling your layout.

I cut three tags out of green, red and blue patterned paper using the Elles Studio Tag dies. I find myself reaching for these dies again and again, I really love them. I outlined the tags in black pen and layered them behind my 6×4 photo.

I created my title by using the ‘Gamer’ stickers from the 12×12 sticker sheet that comes in the collection kit. I just didn’t use the letter R. I added some yellow foam alpha stickers to complete my title. I stamped the date underneath.

I added a narrow long sticker down the left side of my layout, and added some more stickers there too. I then had great fun adding lots of the computer game related stickers. I placed the controllers around the whole page and added some of the grey toned phrase stickers under my title. I added the three JD3D Print large stars. I love how these look on the page, its so great you can purchase them in so many fab colours too. I added some threads from the Embellishment kit to my tags as well.

Lastly I added the blue controller charm from the Hey Little Magpie Gamer Charm pack to my layout. Thanks for coming by and checking out my layout. I will be bringing you a final layout using this fun collection soon! Until then,
