Game Night Scrapbook Layout – Simple Stories – Game Night Collection – Wendy Meffan

Hi Everyone!

It’s Wendy here sharing my first layout for February using Game Night Collection by Simple Stories. This is such a vibrant collection and covers many Games you can play. It was perfect for documenting a night with my Scrappy friends and learning some new games to play.

I started the layout by using three 12×12 papers and tearing off irregular 1″ wide strips. I positioned them at the top of the cardstock and roughed the torn edges. I added the large Game Night foam sticker across the middle of the border and then added some small yellow pom pom braid from an earlier Embellishment kit by HLM. I had chosen three phots o use which I matted on patterned paper. I fussy cut the tag sheet from the collection and chose three which I inverted on the layout from the border. I then attached the photos to each tag. I embellished around them with stickers and ephemera. I threaded some waxed string through the tags.

Across the bottom of the layout I chose all the different game varieties from the ephemera and created a collage. I raised random pieces on sticky fixers to give dimension and interest.
