Five Products Focus with MME On Trend and Niche
Good morning, especially to those of you who have enjoyed a little lie-in as school is out for Easter!
This month I have ordered 5 products by My Mind’s Eye or MME On Trend and Niche as I have always been a fan of MME. These new ranges are a little different from the norm though no less lovely! I adore all the gold and sparkle. Ok, I sneaked in an Amy Tan product too as that was all I can afford as I maxed out my budget. I couldn’t resist some rub-ons, again. See what I mean…
I have also used papers from American Crafts DIY Shop, some of which I have distressed with Wendy Vecchi Embossing Paste in Metallic Gold…you can’t have too much gold, hey ?
Let me start with a layout about my day out to London, visiting Brick Lane. I used to visit Brick Lane a lot many years ago as it was close to where I worked and lived. But Brick Lane was not a trendy East End destination in those days. The bric a brac stalls were more junk than curios but now that the creative sorts have come to Brick Lane, it is all change. I especially love all the graffiti. Look at that face on the stone marker on the kerb!
The next layout is to celebrate Eid al fitr last summer. Many of my Malaysian friends made the journey to Cambridge, armed with all sorts of lovely food to celebrate the occasion.
Last but not least is a layout about our unlucky adventure at Newmarket races. I wanted to use the Amy Tan little stickers differently so I die cut a sheet and replace a sticker in a different colour. The pack comes with 8 sheets, all the same text but 2 each in pink, blue, grey ( and for the life of me cannot remember the fourth colour!). And because I love layers, I have the run on flowers underpinning it all, followed by the heart stamp, before adding the die cut the wood veneer words.
Here’s another close up of this layout. Love the flairs. I have also sneaked in some wood veneer leaves from months ago.
And here is the full picture.
That’s all from me this month. See you again soon.
