Five Products Focus with an assortment of loveliness
I couldn’t resist mixing it up this month. I am giving five products focus to products from Crate Paper Maggie Holmes Confetti, Heidi Swapp Wanderlust and Freckled Fawn Wood Chips. Those wooden arrows are just adorable and, you get two each of nine different words: Travel, Love, Explore, You, Epic, Fun, This, Cute, Here. And that giraffe totally sold the ephemera pack to me.
As Confetti is a “birthday range”, I am using the products to create two birthday layouts…me using a range for its intended purpose is probably unheard off. How about dressing up a large gold “celebrate” with even more sparkly party hat ?
For Mr G’s birthday, and the addition of some Christmas money from the in-laws, we got to dine at Daniel Clifford’s. It turned out a somewhat smoky affair. The beetroot for this dish was cooked on the bbq in The Egg and brought to our table in a smaller egg. Then the waiter pretty much butchered it in front of our eyes and we ended with 3-4 small cubes of beetroot from each beetroot. On the dish was added some cubes of goat’s cheese that has been frozen using dry ice and the whole plate pretty much smoked LOL. We also had quail eggs on a bed of hay and as the lid is lifted, there was smoke coming from the dish too. Ok, enough blurb, here’s the full layout.
Another birthday, this time mine. I was treated to a weekend away in London. I have made layouts about some of the things we got up to but haven’t about the main treat which is an evening at the theatre. A balloon from the sticker pack seems an appropriate decoration {wink} and the sweet giraffe. My kids’ birthday layouts are no longer suitable destination of cuteness.
A flair from previous month joined in as it was the perfect colour match to the other blue in my selection this month. Here it is in full.
And one final non-birthday layout about a glorious day spent exploring Cambridge with a friend. I added a few flowers and some old buttons from an old Crate range.
Cambridge is really beautiful in the sun. Unusually, perhaps because it was over Easter holidays, many colleges were open.
That’s all from me this month folks. Hope you are enjoying the good weather. See you next month. With love…
