Fancy Pants Designs – Sweet Nothings

Hello Magpies, and Happy Valentine’s Day to you all, so with this special day in mind I chose the lovely collection from Fancy Pants Design, My Sweet Nothings.
My first layout, Always & Forever, I used one of  my Wedding Day photographs.

I cut a design on my cameo, but only cut the bottom half of the white cardstock, then I added different patterned papers from the Fancy Pants Designs – Sweet Nothings 6×6 pad, behind each cut-out.
 

To give each shape a bit more depth, I used a thin marker and went around the edges of each shape, also added some machine stitches to a few of the shapes to add some texture.
Using the Fancy Pants Designs – My Sweet Nothings – Stamps I added some stamped detail around the area of the photograph, using a few different colours of ink, that matched the paper used at the bottom of the page.

 
I mounted the photographs using some black cardstock, and added 3D foam underneath before layering in on top of a few sheets of pattern papers from the 6×6 pad.
I then added some ink splatters to the left of the photograph, and added the title ‘always’ cut from my cameo over the top, I finished the title with the saying ‘forever’ from the Fancy Pants Designs – Sweet Nothings – Puffy Stickers.
To finish the page I added a few punched heart shapes, using paper from the 6×6 pad and some die cut embellishments from the Fancy Pants Designs – Sweet Nothings – Ephemera Die Cut Pack, and a few hearts from the Fancy Pants Designs – Sweet Nothings – Heart Puffy Stickers.

My 2nd layout, ‘Love Being Your Mom’,

 
I used a heart design die cut, and infilled a few of the shapes with patterned paper from the 6×6 pad, which I positioned on the b-side of Fancy Pants Designs – Sweet Nothings – Post Script Paper, and lightly glued down then machined stitched with gold thread to secure to the paper.

 
Using a selection of papers from the 6×6 pad, I added behind each photographs and added the photograph strip to a strip of the b-side of Fancy Pants Designs – Sweet Nothings – Love is in the Air paper, which I positioned to the right of the background design.
I finished the layout off using a few tags from Fancy Pants Designs – Sweet Nothings – Tags, puffy heart stickers, puffy design stickers, and added the title using Fancy Pants Designs – Sweet Nothings – Alphabets.
 

My final layouts for this month, ‘Special Delivery’ uses a photograph of James at 1 day old.

I purposely, left the colour of his blanket showing, as I like the different ‘pop of colour’ that it bring to my layout.
For the base of this layout I used the b-side of Fancy Pants Design – Sweet Nothings – Something Sweet paper adding stripes of patterned paper Fancy Pants Designs – Sweet Nothings – Love Garden, Fancy Pants Designs – Sweet Nothings – Happy Mail paper
I layered the photograph using a selection of patterned papers from the 6×6 pad, and added 3D foam to the base so that it had dimension.    Using one of the stamps from the set, I stamped over the background paper before adding a selection of embellishments from the die-cut pack, and some heart and sequin design puffy stickers.

I added these little tags from the cut-apart sheet in the 6×6 pad.

These little envelopes, I created with a punch I’ve had for years, love how cute they look and added some of the heart puffy stickers to each mini envelope.

I cut the main title from my cameo, in red and black, finishing the title using the Alphabets from this collection.
