Fancy Pants Designs – Good Ol’ Days
Hey Magpies, Jackie here with my 2nd blogpost for this month. For these layouts I’ve using a lovely collection from Fancy Pants Designs – Good Ol’ Days
The subject of this collection is apple orchards, but the colours are just great to use with a variety of photographs, and I’ve even manage to do a disney layout with this collection.
Waiting
My first layout I decided to use a Disney photograph. As my photograph hasn’t got the traditional colours of Disney it was easy to use.
Using 5 inches from b-side of Fancy Pants Design – Good Ol’ Days – Measured paper, with a one inch piece of Picnic paper I added to the lower part of my white cardstock.
I backed my photograph with a few pieces patterned papers from the collection.
My journalling box is from cut-apart Memories Paper.
For my title I used Elle’s Studio – Large Jane Outline Alphabet Stamps, and the Elle’s Studio – Large Jane – Metal Dies, I love stamps and this set is a welcome addition to my collection. I stamped the words onto Bloom Paper and die cut them out.
And finished the page with bits and pieces from the Ephemera die cut pack – this pack is full of bits and pieces, various punched border pieces, banners, tickets, apples, labels, phases the list is endless.
Friends – Together
For this layout I decided to do a 9×12 layout.
I added a strip of paper down the centre of my cardstock, added punched borders to the bottom left and top right of this panel.
As I’d printed both of these photographs together, I decided to use them as there are, adding a single patterned paper layer to the back and added 3D foam to given it some dimension.
For my journalling spot I used the b-side of the Memories paper.
For my titles I used the words from the Ephemera pack with this collection, adding one to the top and one overlapping my bottom photo.
I added some stamped details using Elle’s Studio – Say Cheese Stamps around the page, and finished with words strips from Elle’s studio – Days of the Weeks Stickers.
This is a lovely collection, there are not too many papers to be overwhelmed, but enough to make several layouts and as there are tons of die-cuts with this collection, it all so versatile to use.
Thanks for stopping by
Till next time
Happy Scrapping
