Explore – Adventurous – Paige Evans – Wendy Meffan
Hi Everyone!
It’s Wendy here and this month I am using Paige Evans Adventurous Collection. I just Love it! it is full or gorgeous bright colours and travel themed which is a perfect combination for me. I never tire of a new Travel Collection.
As most of you will know by now I love multiple photos on layouts to document an event. I recently went on a Vicki Boutin Scrapbook Mediterranean Cruise which was fantastic. It incorporated four European places I’d not visited. Our first stop was Athens and I was so excited to go to the Acropolis, and it didn’t disappoint apart from being slightly too hot! Anyway I took loads of photos and here are the best of them all on one layout!
Firstly I cut 1cm of two sides of the 12 x12 Paper 4 from the collection and then edged it with white card stock which I had gutted. I used a frame from the Chipboard die cuts to frame my picture of the Acropolis and then made a photo strip of a few more photos alongside. I mounted the strip of photos on a piece of paper from the 6×8 paper pad and then fussy cut some of the scalloped lines from Paper No 22. I used them to embellish under the photo strip. Behind the main photo I tucked in a Chipboard die cut signpost and a cardstock sticker Butterfly.
Along the photo strip at the top I created a cluster using fussy cut tickets, card stock stickers and puffy stickers. I then added the gold Explore from the Chipboard Die cuts as a main title. I also used some small gold thickers to write Acropolis lower down.
At the top of the layout I used another of the Chipboard Die cut frames which I backed with a patterned paper from the 6×8 paper pad, I added a small photo to it and then added chipboard and puffy stickers to embellish. I created another cluster using another fussy cut ticket and scalloped strip and placed a Chipboard tab over the top. I used gold thickers again to write Athens.
Finally I used white acrylic paint and added some white splatters across the layout.
Do look at this gorgeous colourful collection if you’ve not seen it as it works really well with most travel photos.
Until next time … Happy scrapping!
