Hello Magpies

I’m back again today sharing my second layout made with the lovely Life Captured collection from Simple Stories. This collection has all the colours in it & suits lots of different genres. My last layout was about my love of crafting & this one is about a child playing!! very different vibes.

I started by adding a bit of mixed media to the background, brayering on some Distress Oxide paint, in Salvaged Patina & Saltwater Taffy. I then stencilled over the top using inks in the same colours to give some tone on tone details.

I built up my clusters, going horizontally, across the page, adding lots of ephemera, chipboard, die cuts, brads & stickers.

I used a couple of the Essential Filmstrips, from 49 and Market, in the colour Lagoon, to add in a different texture. These are perfect & come in a multitude of colours. Another new product I’ve added is the JD3D wood ephemera Camera & Moments title, again adding another texture.
