Even more Happy Days from MME!
This collection has been lots of fun to use, with it’s bold colours and quirky elements!
To start my first layout I splattered some blue and green ink to the lower half of the base page. Then I tore two wide strips of paper and glued them to the top of the page. (Thanks to my fellow teamie Julie for the inspiration!)

I chose an equally fun photo and backed it with a few layers of patterned paper. I glued the photo in place and added two clouds alongside it cut from one of the collection’s papers. I placed a chipboard phrase above it with a little chevron.

Then I added a tag to hold my journalling, which I’d typed and cut into strips. Plus, a cute chipboard ice cream van alongside it and a few enamel dots and hearts around this part of the layout.

I chose a title from a set of American Crafts Thickers and added some chipboard chevrons below it, plus a phrase sticker and more enamel dots. I think they are my favourite embellishment!

To finish off I added a chipboard camera and another phrase sticker under the journalling tag.
My second layout is far more simple because I used a large cut file as the overall design. It’s often tricky to find embellishments for teen boys – or even grown men! So I chose this cut file as it has mainly leaves and wasn’t too feminine.

Using papers from the collection I back filled the leaves and then cut a decorative circle for the centre. I backed the centre with the wide striped paper as its simple design didn’t overpower the photograph.

I cut the photo into a circle to match the overall style of the layout and glued it towards the top of the middle circle, with a white cardstock border. And I die cut the title to work with the puffy phrase stickers

That’s all from me this month, so until next time, happy scrapping everyone!
