Embracing Pink – Pink Paislee Lucky Us
Hi there Magpies, Sheena here again x
For todays post I am sharing with you a couple of layouts I’ve made using Pink Paislee – Lucky Us paper range which is essentially a Valentines range. I tend to get most Valentine ranges that come into the shop as I feel for a themed range they are way more versatile.
You and Me.
For this page I focused on the Pink Paislee Lucky Us paper 4 plus a couple of papers from the 6×8 pad and a few die cuts. I cut out the squares I wanted to use, distressed the edges and put them together in a grid design running down the page. To add interest I hand stitched around some of them in complimentary coloured embroidery floss.
Before adhering them down I added some ink oxide to my base cardstock using both the packaging technique and also through a stencil. Once the squares were all in place I embellished some further using puffy hears and chipboard shapes including my title. I kept my photo black and white to add contrast in the pink.
Love.
For my second layout I focused on the Pink Paislee Lucky Us 6×8 paper pad and ephemera pack. There is loads of lovely ephemera so I picked out the pieces I fancied and began layering them up. I cut 3 tags from paper from the Pink Paislee Lucky Us 6×8 pad to use as a base.
On my white cardstock background I added diluted Ink Oxides in an ombre effect down the page. Once dry I used a Vicki Boutin stencil to add hearts in the same Oxide Inks colours back over the top. I then added my tags, ephemera, photo and chipboard title before finishing with some puffy stickers.
We would love to see what you create with this range so join us on our Facebook group to share your creations.
Till next time x
