Elle’s Studio really makes an impact!

Hey there Magpies, it’s Rachel here with my second post of the month using Elle’s Studio products. As I said in my first blog post this month, I have been struggling to scrap lately so I’m having some time off the DT next year. The thing is, I made the decision to ask Sarah & Lianne for some time off and then I created these 2 layouts and I love the both a lot so I wondered if I’d made the right decision lol!

Elle’s Studio usually comes out with some fabulous feature pieces and the Acrylic Rainbow I used on this LO is no exception, it’s a real statement piece! At the time of me writing this, it is out of stock, sorry about that, I bought the last one! But definitely sign up for an email alert when it’s re-stocked and you will be the first to know when it comes back, and also, it gives Sarah & Lianne an idea how many people are after one. I am sorry that it’s out of stock, we try and use products that are in stock on the blog but we work ahead of time and sometimes they go out of stock before our post is published and we do apologise for that. We know it’s frustrating when you see something and want it now, and the acrylic rainbow is super cool, I want, sorry, NEED another one! There are more on the way though 😉

I knew I wanted to use the Acrylic Rainbow as a feature on my LO and I was laying some stuff out around my photo and realised, I didn’t even need any patterned paper on this one! I started with my rainbow and then I used some of the hearts from the Acetate Diecuts pack. I also used some of the Summer Mix – Puffy Heart Stickers and Shapes & Dots Puffy Stickers. The ‘a beautiful day’ and ‘outdoor fun’ stickers are from the Spring Puffy Stickers pack. Then I used the Wood Veneer, The Good Life for my title, another statement piece from Elle’s Studio! I popped some Nuvo Crystal Drops on top of mine to colour it and my LO was done. You don’t always need patterned paper!

I laid my photos out on this LO and realised once again, a few statement pieces from Elle’s Studio and I didn’t need any patterned paper again! And man, this LO took so little time it wasn’t funny. I made my title using the ‘awesome’ from the Shine Diecuts pack and I popped it up on foam pads for some dimension. The word autumn I did with some old Thickers in my stash. Then I used some of the Spring Puffy Stickers the words I used on the photos and then the fabulous rainbow as well. I finished off with some of the Hand Drawn Acrylic Hearts and boy I love those, they’re fabulous! That was all I needed to finish this LO, I think the Elle’s Studio pieces stand out enough to make the LO work and not need much more.

I think everyone needs to check out Elle’s Studio and keep up to date on the awesome pieces they have available. They always have great cut-apart sheets of little labels which are so cool for putting journalling or dates on. And their statement acrylic pieces are so worth it. Have a good look at Elle’s Studio next time you’re having a wee shop at Hey Little Magpie! I hope you all have a fabulous Christmas and a wonderful new year. Here’s to a great 2020 and I shall be back in April with hopefully, a renewed mojo and enthusiasm! Wonder if santa can bring me that…..?
