Echo Park Papers – Winnie the Pooh : Jackie Ashton

Hi Jackie here, with my first layout for April using Echo Park – Winnie The Pooh collection, and what a fun collection it is.

I have loads of photographs of meeting Pooh and friends at Disney that I want to document, and this was the perfect collection to use.

For my first layout, I will be using this layout as the opening page for the Winnie The Pooh section of my album.

I started the layout by using the b-side of Winnie the Pooh paper, cutting down to 7 inches and added a border punch to the right hand side.

Using a selection of patterned papers from the 6×6 pad, I added layers behind my photograph, and used other papers from the pad, to form layers behind my photograph.

Around my page I’ve used chipboard phases, die cuts, and stickers from the Sticker Book.

Have you seen the new exclusive metal dies from Hey Little Magpie, they are just gorgeous, and I use a few on my layout, you can find them here  Hey Little Magpie metal dies.

I made a little mini envelope and adding a tag, cut from patterned paper from the 6×6 pad, which I decorated with stickers.

Finishing the layout with some hand stitched circles, to add some added texture.

I’m really loving working with this collection, and I will be back later in the month with some pocket pages using this collection.

Don’t forget to share your layouts over in our Facebook Group we would love to see them.

Till next time

Happy Scrapping
