Echo Park Let’s Take The Trip | Julie Taylor

Hello Magpies

Julie back with you again today sharing another layout from Echo Park Let’s Take The Trip collection.

I chose to do my background on the dark grey plane paper to help make the colours pop. I cut it down to 9.5×11 & made up the extra inches on the left hand edge by fussy cutting the cloud paper & adding a couple layers of that, adding foam tape for dimension.

I then backed the whole background with the striped edged paper, sewing into place.

I added some messy black stitching & positioned a vertical strip, off to the left, using the scalloped piece & plane border piece, off the sticker sheet,  & a die cut strip using the exclusive large doodle borders die.

I tucked in a couple of tags & added a charm & tassel onto some twine which I then threaded up the page. I positioned my photo, over the messy stitching & extended the embellishment cluster, horizontally towards the right, adding stickers, chipboard & JD3D wood pieces.

My title comes from a chipboard piece with a JD3D wood word over the top.

I’ve loved playing with this collection & I’ll be back soon with some new goodies!!

Until next time,
