Echo Park | It’s Time to Travel Part 3 | Giselle Homer

Hi everyone,

Here’s my latest page using It’s Time to Travel by Echo Park. This collection is really best suited for city or road trip holidays rather than one that is beach themed. It includes die cut shapes of landmarks and icons from several large cities, such as Paris, San Francisco and Italy.

TRAVEL THE WORLD

 

I decided to use large tags for this layout, so I began by cutting 4 from different papers in the collection. They measure between 6″ to 7.5” in length and are approximately 2.5” wide. I wasn’t too precise and arranged them, slightly off centre,  without too much measuring!

I glued my photo, which measures 4” x 2.75”, onto a strip of checked paper making sure it fitted over the longest tag.

 

Then, using a thin red waxed string, I threaded it along the top of the tags.

 

On the right corner of the photo I grouped some stickers, along with my title. I chose a scalloped border to add along the lower edge.

 

On the left, I chose one larger sticker to balance the layout. Then I drew a double border around the edges of the page to finish it off.
