Echo Park | It’s Time to Travel Part 2 | Giselle Homer
Hello Magpies,
Here’s my second layout using Echo Park’s ‘It’s Time to Travel’ collection. It’s always fun to create a grid style layout, so for today’s page I began by cutting out twelve 2″ squares from two different patterned papers.
MY TRAVELS
I arranged them on a white background which I trimmed to 8.5″ x 6.5″. Then I drew a frame on each square with a fine liner pen. I glued the whole piece in the centre of a blue cardstock background.
The photo, which measures 4.5″ x 3.25″, was backed with a dark blue paper from the collection. I placed it on the right of the grid lining it up with the top of the second row of squares.
Then I added some ephemera, from the collection’s Sticker Book, on the right. To make my title I fussy cut a phrase from one of the Journalling Cards papers and glued it below the photo.
I made another cluster of elements at the lower left edge of the photo. To finish, I added a patterned sticker strip at the top of the grid, with an aeroplane die cut flying off to the left!
There will be another layout using this fun travel collection later this month, so until then happy scrapping everyone!
