Documented – Echo Park – Telling Our Story – Wendy Meffan

Hi Everyone! Here is my third layout for June using this gorgeous vibrant collection Telling Our Story by Echo Park Paper. This collection is so colourful it goes really well with most photos.

I decided to create a more vertical look to this layout so chose three strips of patterned paper. I distressed their edges and sewed them down the centre of the 12×12 paper. I used the 12×12 striped background paper with embellishments in the corners. I then machine sewed around the outer edge of the paper. I chose two photo of meeting up with our Australian friends in London. We obviously don’t see them very often and they were only here for 4 days so it was a really special fun time catching up. It needed to be documented! At the top I used a photo of all of us together and then embellished around it. I used chipboard phrases, stickers from the sticker book, decorative brads. I also fussy cut some flowers from one of the floral papers and added them as extra embellishments.

I then used another photo below to document our Crazy Golf antics drinking cocktails on the way round the course! I followed a similar process using puffy stickers, chipboard, stickers and again fussy cut flowers.

This collection comes with so many different embellishments , it makes it easy to piece things together. I have really loved using it and creating three completely different layouts.
