Destination Uluru | Julie Taylor
Who doesn’t love a travel collection? & this one, Tourist Mode from Pinkfresh Studio ticks all the boxes. Great colours, fab icons & great for far flung travels or just a spot of camping in your own back yard!!
I’m lucky at the moment as I’m getting lots of photos off my daughter who’s travelling, but as you can see from the photo they could be anywhere!!
I started by adding a bit of colour, to the background, by using texture paste through the tile mania 6×6 Crafters Workshop stencil. once dry I added Mustard Seed & Salvaged Patina Oxide inks, allowing them to mix to give the green colour.
I ripped a diagonal section of Great Outdoors paper & set it at the top of my page, adding some pompom trip at the bottom. I die cut an Australian map, using a die from my stash, & added that on the right with the destination sticker on top & Uluru word using the Doodlebug Alphabet Soup Puffy Stickers in Beetle Black.
I then added all the fabulous ephemera coming top left across to bottom right going down the page using die cuts, tags, stickers, chipboard & puffy stickers in all the lovely colours that are in this collection.
Finally I added a few pops of black, like the flair badge & some trim to make the colours pop even more.
Pop on over to the store & check out this collection, you won’t be disappointed!!!
Until next time,
