December Memories, Vicki Boutin Peppermint Kisses | Julie Taylor

Hello Magpies, Just over a week to go now until the big day!!!

I’ve been scrapping again with the lovely Peppermint Kisses collection from Vicki Boutin & it’s really getting me in the spirit with all it’s traditional colours & fun embellishments.

This photo was a took a few years ago & I think I may have already scrapped it but that doesn’t bother me, it’s the fun of being creative with lovely products.

I started by adding a bit of MM to my background using a stencil & some Bundled Sage oxide ink & a few splatters with watered down Pine Needles.

I then built up my 2 clusters on opposite corners using die cuts, tags, paperie bits & stickers. This collection is big with lots of great pieces in it so you can really go to town.

I added texture by using a straw & sewing over it, lace out my stash & one of the gorgeous tassels.

My title is made up of a sticker & a puffy sticker, loads to chose from that would suit many photos.

I added some Pine Needles ink around the edge of the layout to give a frame & splattered with water which I mopped up, because Oxide Ink is water soluble this gives a lovely mottled effect.
