Hi there Magpies.

Creating a festive scrapbook layout is always a joy, and this design featuring two Christmassy portrait photos quickly became one of my seasonal favourites. I started by arranging the photos side by side, allowing them to anchor the page while keeping the overall design clean and balanced. To bring in texture and movement, I added horizontal paper strips across the background above and below the photos, mixing subtle prints with bolder seasonal patterns from the Arden Creative Studio Season of Joy collection.

The real magic, though, comes from the Hey Little Magpie embellishment kit. I used its mix of the soft hearts, wooden pieces, and festive flowers & leaves to accent each of the strips, tucking a few elements behind the woiden title for added depth. A scattering of stars and pearls completed the look. The end result is a cheerful, textured layout that perfectly captures the warmth of Christmas memories.
