DECEMBER 2020 MONTHLY CHALLENGE

Hi everyone, It’s time for the last challenge of 2020 and I have chosen to use torn paper, clusters and layering techniques as my challenge on your Layouts, these are three of my favourite techniques in scrapbooking. I have used Crate Paper Snowflake Collection.  This was from last year but the challenge is a good way to use up stash too.

Here is my example of torn paper technique.

And here are two clusters, I have also used an older Bramblefox perspextive within the cluster.

In this cluster I added a photo frame along with some ephemera and a small charm along with some thickers .

And finally my layering including matting the photo and adding ephemera around the photo to create layers.

The example Layout for this challenge has been made by Morag Cutts and is absolutely stunning. Morag has used Carta Bella Winter Market Collection.

Here is an example of her torn paper technique with a gorgeous cluster above it.

Here is the finer detail of layering.

I hope you will feel inspired to play along with this challenge and have the chance to win 1000 Magpie points worth £10, and maybe have a bit more time as Christmas is going to take on a slightly different form this year! Feel free to use any collection, your layouts do not need to be winter or christmas themed.

Just add your layouts to the December Challenge album in the Hey Little Magpie Chat and Inspiration group on Facebook, you have until midnight on New Year’s Eve to enter and a winner will be drawn randomly. The points will be added to your Hey Little Magpie Account and make for a great start into 2021! Only entries added to the December Challenge album by the deadline will be considered.

We can’t wait see what you create!
