Dear Lizzy – She’s Magic – Kay Hall

Hi Kay here with two layouts from this colourful and bright collection by Dear Lizzy which can be found here:

After choosing which of the pretty papers to use for my background sheet I then added torn strips from three of the other papers. Using “Dreaming” for the background sheet and strips of “Feeling Fine” and “Kind Heart”.

I then added my photo of a very fond memory of Afternoon Tea with my crafting friends. I love the way we are all wearing different colours in the photo as it goes well with the colours in the collection.
It was then time for some fussy cutting of those cute little teapots, teacups and hearts. These were then mounted on 3D foam to help them stand out. I added a couple of little metal embellishments and die cuts from my stash and used the large Thickers from the collection for my title.

The final things to add were the word stickers from the collection and the “Love These Girls” sticker which is from one of my many Happy Planner sticker books!

My second layout uses the lovely “Perfectly Imperfect” paper for the background and torn strips of the “Kind Heart” and “Feeling Fine” again. I added a few white splatters of ink and some faux stitching around the edge to begin with.

After mounting my photo onto blue cardstock to make it stand out I added some tickets cut out from the “Round Trip” paper and some bits and pieces from the “Simple Hello” sheet. Then I added a few stickers from the Confetti word stickers and the year from the coordinating Thickers.

Ive enjoyed using some bright colours in the dreary month of January! Roll on summer!
Happy Scrapping!
