Days of Splendor – Pinkfresh Studio | Sheena Rowlands

This month I’ll be sharing with you layouts I will have created with Days of Splendor from Pinkfresh Studio. The colour palette of this range is just wonderful and I knew I would love creating with it.

Walk in the Woods.

I used the Totally Splendid patterned paper as my base for this page. I liked all the different coloured sections and that gave me the idea to use small photos to fill some of the sections.

Would you believe at first glance that there are 7 photos on here? I did print some at custom sizes especially to fit. I added some on foam for depth.

Next I went through the Days of Splendor stickers, puffy stickers and ephemera looking for small pieces to add into the sections. I added some hand stitched details in a few places to add texture. The Puffy Alphas were great for the title.

Every Day Magic.

For my second layout I was totally inspired by the more soft pink/peach/ lilac  tones in this range.

Starting with the Moments that Matter patterned paper, I cut from it all the strips that I wanted then distressed the edges & sewed them down to the white cardstock base to form 2 triangles pointing towards the centre. I had cut all the frames from My Favourite paper – which literally my favourite paper!! I’ve used lots of these to layer either side of my photograph.

I went back to the stickers and die cuts to get the final pieces to add to the frames. I raised some on foam pads  for added depth.
