Days of Splendor – Pinkfresh Studio | Sheena Rowlands
Hi there Magpies, Sheena here again x
Today I’m sharing with you 2 more layouts I’ve created with Pinkfresh Studio – Days of Splendor collection. I love the colours in this range and it is perfect for scrapping a wide range of photos.
Lets Get Cozy.
For my first layout I took the Oh So Delightful paper as my base layer. I trimmed and added the ombre Simply Magical paper over this tucking in a little of the Grateful Heart paper having distressed and curled them both. Having gutted the base paper I then die cut some little leaves from it which I tucked under the lowest rolled edge. I added a sprinkle of white paint and left it to dry.
I went through all the pieces of ephemera and picked out the blue, green and browns to compliment my 3 photos. I layered my photos with frames and journalling pieces adding stickers and die cuts in 2 clusters. I die cut some cutlery to tie in with the meal out photos.
For my second layout I chose to scrap a big A4 photo of our Grand fur baby!
Rafa.
I really liked this Fall in Love paper and debated for a while how I wanted to use it. So with a scalpel I cut around the leaves on the left until I could slot this photo underneath them.
I wanted to add a little depth to the layout so using cardstock in complimentary colours and following a little investigation on line I created a few fold origami type leaves to add to the decorative panel. They are very easy to make and the distance between your fold denotes how tall they will be when they are finished.
I added some die cut leaves in white also before finishing my layout with a small cluster of labels and journalling spot to hold my title and journalling.
I hope these pages provide some inspiration for you to check out this range. Please upload and share your creations in our Facebook group as we love to see how you use your supplies.
Till next time x
