Day Dream | Cocoa Vanilla | Morag Cutts

Hi there friends.  I’m a very lucky girl because I’m working with the gorgeous Day Dream collection by Cocoa Vanilla this month.  This collection has beautiful soft colours and the prettiest of flowers and rainbows – so easy to work with!

The Sweet Serenity paper has a gorgeous painterly feel – a perfect background.  To add a little more detail, I used a text background stamp with black ink.  I drew the circle using a black pen around a jar.

Let’s talk flowers.  Garden Variety paper has the prettiest selection of flower clusters! They look complex but were quite easy to fussy cut.  Layer them over one another to add depth and interest.  I also added the beautiful gold leaves from Pebbles – The Avenue Puffy Gold Foil Leaves. I think they really add a beautiful texture to the clusters.

I added the Day Dream Accessory Sticker to this cluster as well as some Gold flakes from my stash.

Shine On

The Over the Rainbow paper was used for this layout.  I had to fussy cut more over those fabulous flowers from the Garden Variety paper and layered with the from Pebbles – The Avenue Puffy Gold Foil Leaves.

I layered one of the rainbows from the Up in the Clouds paper and added one  of the gorgeous flair from the collection.

The black splodges on the background look like raindrops, so I added my own handrawn cloud.  I layered more flowers behind to tie in with the main cluster.

These layouts came together quickly because of the fabulous papers in the collection and of course those flowers and rainbows! I hope I have inspired you to take a look at the Day Dream collection.
