Cute Girl in Notting Hill – 49 & Market Vicki Boutin Curiosities in Willow Grove – Wendy Meffan

A day in Notting Hill always brings a sense of charm and inspiration, and this layout perfectly captures that feeling. Using the 49 and Market Vicki Boutin Curiosities in Willow Grove collection, I wanted to recreate the vibrant yet relaxed atmosphere of wandering through the colourful streets, taking photos of the beautiful houses  in this iconic London neighbourhood.

I started with two 3×4 photos that tell the story of my day and built my composition around them, layering up a mix of laser-cut elements to create depth and visual texture. These delicate details brought so much life to the page, echoing the eclectic mix of architecture and busy markets that makes Notting Hill so special.

To add more character to the background, I used the street map stencil from Hey Little Magpie with Kitsch Flamingo Distress Oxide. The soft pink hue gave a subtle, playful energy, almost like a gentle nod to the pastel-coloured houses that line the streets. It also helped tie the whole page together, giving a cohesive yet dynamic backdrop for the photos and embellishments.

I added a few floral pieces from the laser-cut foliage and created a small, balanced cluster at the top right of the layout. This little detail helped frame the photos beautifully and gave a natural flow to the page.

Finally, I finished the design with the adorable CUTE GIRL wooden embellishment by Hey Little Magpie, using her as the main title. It perfectly represents the photos and creative vibe of the day.
