Creative team call!
We are looking to expand our creative team and would like to invite applications. We are looking for UK based people who have a passion for papercrafts and a great eye for design, including cardmakers, scrapbookers and faith journallers/scrapbookers. We would particularly be interested in seeing applicants from planners and journallers. We would also like to see applications from fresh faces – papercrafters who have a natural creativity who aren’t yet creating for any teams and have been waiting for a great opportunity to come up.
As a Hey Little Magpie creative team member, you will be expected to post once a month on our blog, creating unique content that will inspire our readers. You will also create a challenge for our Facebook chat group around once a year, and be expected to participate in special events once or twice a year, such as the National Scrapbooking Day cybercrop challenge weekend that we run on our Facebook chat group. It is essential that you are active on social media and familiar with using social media channels, such as Instagram and Facebook. You will be working with WordPress to write your monthly blog post.
In return for designing for Hey Little Magpie, you will receive an allowance to spend each month on supplies for your monthly blog post, plus an ongoing discount for use on additional orders.
We are looking for styles that compliment our range of products and existing team members. Most importantly, we want to see people who are dedicated to scrapbooking, planning, journaling or cardmaking who want to help spread the word about the wonderful world of papercrafting and see the industry continue to grow.
To apply, please send 3 of your favourite projects for consideration to firstname.lastname@example.org. One of these should be an original piece of work created especially for your application. Please choose work that you feel best represents your crafting style, and that is indicative of the type of papercrafting projects you like to create, be it scrapbook pages, cards, planner spreads etc. We would love to hear a bit about you – tell us about your passion for papercrafting! Please also include links to your social media pages and any blogs that you may have, as well as links to any online galleries that showcase your work. Please also give us details of any other teams that you are a part of, including challenge blogs.
The deadline for entries is Friday 26th October, after which we will begin to select our new team members. We look forward to hearing from you!
