Create A Pocket To House Your Festive Photos | Simple Stories Hard Candy Christmas | Emma Kate

I’m having so much fun documenting my festive stories using this Simple Stories collection, it’s so bright & colourful. I had numerous photos for this particular story so I decided to create a pocket to store them in.

For the pocket I cut my 12 x 12 patterned paper at 7 inches (width of my page), then scored a fold at 8.25 inches (height of my page) & folded the pattern paper back on itself adhering the edges with tape making a pocket. I then mounted my photos onto the 6×4 cards from the cut apart sheet.

I added trim from the December Hey Little Magpie Embellishment Kit to the top edge of my pocket & stapled the bow to the centre using my Tim Holtz Tiny Attacher. To balance out the opposite page, I used the same pattern paper to die cut an oval, & used a bow from the Bits & Pieces Ephemera Pack to mirror the bow on the right.

To finish, using tabs from the 12 x 12 Cardstock Sticker Sheet, I placed them back to back & adhered them to all my photos. How is your Christmas documenting going? Be sure to share it on the Hey Little Magpie Facebook group.
