Crate Paper – Moonlight Magic | Fairytale Forest

Hello Magpies, Amy here sharing my 5th layout using Crate Paper’s Moonlight Magic collection, a beautiful collection full of pretty florals, woodland creatures and a few fairies.

Fairytale Forest

I’ve used patterned paper for the background and inspiration of this layout. Its ended up a very busy, fun layout which I think is the perfect reflection of the photo and the Fairytale Forest in Efteling.

HLM Wax Seals

My photo is of the sign at the entrance to the Fairytale Forest, and somewhat unusually for me, I have cut the actual to fit the arched shape of the sign. I trimmed down the yellow star burst paper by 1/4″ on each side and stuck it to the pink floral paper to add a border and a pop of colour. To the upper left corner I added some embellishments and the date. To the top right corner I added a subtitle and some more stickers. These two areas were inspired by the labels pre-printed onto the patterned paper.

I then layered up a whole bunch of Ephemera from the journalling pack underneath my photo. I created by title using the ‘fairytale’ word sticker and the tile Thickers.

I added flowers, and then had fun adding lots of the little woodland creatures around the layout. How many can you spot?  I really loved adding the tiny butterfly puffy stickers in the directions of the lines. Lastly I added a green wax seal with leaves on to finish my page.
