Crate Paper – Moonlight Magic | De Vlinderhoeve

Hello Magpies, Amy here with my 4th layout using Crate Papers Moonlight magic collection.

Landal De Vlinderhoeve

For this layout I have used one of my favourite black and white spotty papers in the collection, and paired it to form a grid style layout with rainbow elements. My embellishments consist of simply the whole packed of Dimensional Stickers. They are lovely. I was inspired to use these as the name of the place we stayed on holiday this year translated to ‘The Butterfly Farm’.

I printed out 3 square photos and then printed a 4th one in a larger rectangle which I then cutdown to fit the grid design. I matted the square photos on top white card, and the larger rectangular photo onto a mustard yellow patterned paper. I added a narrow stripe of multi coloured floral paper to the top and bottom edge of my page. Then I added my photos to a large pieces of B&W patterned paper which I stuck slightly above the middle of the page.

I added my title by using first the cream tile Thickers, and then a rainbow of Bella Blvd Florence Alpha stickers. I love how this looks so much I cant wait to use this idea again! I stamped the dates of our holiday below this. I then added ALL the dimensional stickers to my layout in a pleasing arrangement. I overlapped the floral stickers with my photos to soften the grid design. I then added the three butterfly stickers around my layout to form the classic triangle design.

Lastly I added a pink butterfly wax seal on top of some bundled green thread. I am loving the wax seals and encourage you to give them a try to add a really special finish to your layout.
