Crate Paper – All Heart | Morag Cutts

Hi there Magpies. I’m back with two more layouts I created using the fun All Heart collection from Crate Paper.

The collection has lots of young and vibrant elements and stickers which I absolutely love. A wreath is always a great way to add lots of fun, little elements.

The circle background is painted using Distress Oxide ink pads. To do so, I laid some ink down onto a messy mat and sprayed with water. I picked up the colour with a paintbrush and drew the messy circle. I used Picked Raspberry and Fossilized Amber – some of my favourite colours.

To add more depth, I stamped some images around the circle using the fun All Heart Acrylic Stamps – these are brilliant value for money! I then added Puffy Stickers and
fussy cut elements around the ‘wreath’.
I layered the cardstock stickers – some of these have a lovely holligraphic shine to them. I sprinkled some Enamel Dots from the Sparkle City collection – they co-ordinate beautifully.

There are lots of Happy Mail online which have really caught my eye – envelopes stuffed with cute tags, shakers and embellishments. This layout is my take on that trend – a handmade envelope and handmade elements to support my photo.

The envelope was created using the Wallflower paper. Using double-sided paper gives the envelope a nice interesting interior. For added detail, I then wrapped twine and poked in some old pins and charms. I edged the envelope with pom-pom trim.
The tag was created using paper from the 6×8 paper pad. To create the tag, I stitched tulle around the edges before filling the tag with sequins, table scatter and other ephemera. To finish, I sewed up the gap and layered stickers – I love this interactive element.
The top of the layout is edged with patterned paper and crepe paper tucked underneath. This little collection of lovely stickers from the cardstock stickers pack.
More stickers and the lovely Puffy Stickers add a finishing touch.
