Hello Magpies,

Julie back with you again today sharing a cute layout. This month I decided to make myself up a mini kit to work from. I just looked through the store & chose some bright, bold patterns that would go with the photos I had. I went down the boy route. There’s never many boy collections out there & they can sometimes be too cutsy for what you want but by making your own kit you can add in what suits!!! I went with papers & embellishments from Bella Blvd Teen Vibe Carson, Pebbles Cool Boy, Hey Little Magpie star stamps & dies, JD3D wood words & bit & pieces of small embellishments that are in the store. I’ve added a reel to my IG so you can see what I chose.

I’ve used the sketch, designed by Sarah, from the challenge 1 sketch : 3 ways from November as my starting point. I love a good sketch & this one makes for a great page.

I started by adding some central strips to my cardstock using papers, zip, rickrack trim, 12×12 sticker & die cut from the Notebook & torn paper borders. once I knew the placing of these I added some stencilled stars in a couple of places.

I cut out 2 circles in contrasting papers & added those top left & bottom right of the central column. I layered my photo onto some black cardstock & patterned paper & added it, at the bottom, over the strips & circle.

I embellished around the photo using all the bits out my kit & added a title around the circle using the Luna alphabet, in black, & a chipboard sticker. I adhered the JD3D wood word onto my photo with a canvas flair badge & pre made wax seal.
