Congratulations | 49th & Market One Perfect Day | Emma Kate

Hey Magpies, today I would like to share this layout with you documenting my brother’s wedding, it’s been nearly 4 years since he got married but you know what us crafters are like, always playing catch up. I have an excuse though, I was waiting for the perfect scrapbooking collection to come along, & with the One Perfect Day collection from 49th & Market my wait is over.

All it took was a piece of patterned paper & a selection of the delicate laser cut elements for my page to come together. I started with the On This Day patterned paper as my background, it has a subtle faux brick wall print with florals at the top & base, so pretty.

I placed my photo centrally then added clusters of the laser cut elements & wildflowers surrounding it, the string of hanging lightbulbs being a favourite of mine. My page felt slightly unbalanced so I added a third mini cluster to the bottom right hand corner, which also created the visual triangle to draw the eye around the layout.

To finish I fussy cut the Congratulations title from the laser cut backing card, those extra printed images are a great little bonus & added it to my mini cluster. And of course it wouldn’t be a layout of mine unless I added some sparkle.
