Colour it up with Color Study by Vicki Boutin | Julie Taylor
Hi Magpies, Julie back with you again today sharing 2 layouts using the fab, colourful collection Color Study from Vicki Boutin. I LOVE Vicki’s collections & always think the current one is my fave & then she brings out another one & that’s my fave!!!!
Yes
I loved the Thumbnail paper so chose that as my background for my first layout. Using the flower stamps I did some heat embossing onto vellum to add into my clusters.
I used 3 small photos so added 3 clusters, down the left side, adding fussy cut flowers, vellum flowers, stickers & bits out the sticker book.
I finished the layout with some messy stitching around the edge & fussy cut the title piece from the Collection paper.
Do All The Fun Things
I think the color wheel paper will be everyones fave but I chose not to use it as a whole. I cut it up, distressed all the edges & added half of it back onto some white cardstock.
I then made a vertical strip, using a piece of torn Linear paper. I inked some bias ribbon, in different colours & sewed that over it & added a sticker from the 6×12 sticker sheet.
I added one of the 3×4 elements off the collection paper, tucked in some fussy cut pencils, another couple of stickers & added the beautiful enamel sticker to the cluster.
my title comes from the puffy phrase stickers & added the pop of black that was needed
I’ve loved playing with this collection & will be back later this month with a couple more layouts.
until next time,
