Collections Revisited – Amy Tangerine – Slice of Life
Hi crafters, Jackie here with my 1st blogpost of the month. This month I decided to return to some past collections, and for blogpost I choose Amy Tangerine – Slice of Life.
Enjoy the Now
To started my layout I added Tim Holtz Distress Inks to a Vicki Boutin stencil set to add some flower details down the centre of my cardstock.
I cut a various strips of patterned papers and added a border punch to a few, and placed them at various angles on side of the cardstock.
Underneath my photographs I added various patterned papers at an angle and distressed the edges, rising my photographs with 3D foam to add some dimension.
I finished the layouts with several puffy accents from Amy Tangerine – Slice of Life – Puffy Phases Stickers.
For my title – I used the ‘Enjoy the Now’ from the Amy Tangerine – Slice of Life – Die Cuts.
See the Good
I loved this months sketch challenge set by Rachel (here), so decided to used the sketch for one of my layouts.
As you can see from the above sketch, I followed the sketch.
I did add some extra details, by machine stitching around the circle and also around my title.
I’ve loved re-visiting this collection again, and it was great to try and use up some of the papers I had left from my previous posts here and here
Full details about our December challenge, can be found here on our Facebook page, and we would love to all your layouts over on our Facebook page.
Till next time,
Happy scrapping
