Cocoa Vanilla Studio | Sunkissed | Giselle homer
Hello Magpies,
I hope you’re well and enjoying the lovely spring weather we’ve had lately.
Today I have two layouts to share using the colourful Sunkissed collection from Cocoa Vanilla Studio. If you bought just one collection to document your summer, this would definitely be the one to choose!
LOVE THIS
I began my first page by creating a background with green, yellow and blue paints. It was concentrated on the lower right quarter of the base where I intended to place lots of flowers around my photo. The word ‘Sunkissed’ is cut from the manufacturers strip.
The photo was backed with white cardstock and some journalling cards, the edges of which I distressed. Two of the die cut words formed my title.
Now to the flowers, there is a page in this collection filled with bright flowers ready to be fussy cut. Or you can choose from the pack of die cut florals which has 55 pieces! I used both to go around my photo.
One of the cards behind my photo had space for journalling and I added some fun elements above it. I drew a double line border to finish the page.
HAPPINESS
This layout is based on a circular design and I began by cutting circles from two different papers.
After lightly sprinkling some blue and yellow ink onto the background, I placed the circles in the middle. Nothing was glued down at this stage as I needed to make sure everything fitted properly first!
I trimmed my photo to fit behind the smallest circle and then I cut some banner shapes to trim around the circles.
Then it was just a case of choosing some die cuts from the ephemera pack to embellish the design. There’s plenty to choose from and I added a fussy cut flower group as well.
I used a die cut word for my title, plus some enamel dots for a finishing touch.
