Cocoa Vanilla Studio Legendary | Giselle Homer
Hello again Magpies,
I hope you’re all keeping safe and well at this difficult time and finding extra time to scrapbook. When I saw this new boy themed collection from Cocoa Vanilla Studio, I jumped on it! It’s a bright, happy collection with lots of orange, dark blue and turquoise, with some great embellishments.
I started this layout by trimming and gluing the Wild One paper onto a white background. It’s a strong pattern so I wanted to ground it on a neutral colour.
I used my Silhouette to cut the signpost and I back filled it with a variety of papers from the collection. I glued it into place and drew a line around it with a fine black pen to make it more prominent.
I added various elements from the ephemera pack and the stickers to make the signpost more interesting. The star clear stickers and tiny word stickers also worked well, both on the cut file and around it. There’s lots to choose from!
I backed my photo with three layers of patterned paper and made the last layer a bit longer leaving a torn edge at the bottom. I used a larger clear sticker for the title, with another word sticker placed below it over a journalling tag.
If you have boy photos to scrapbook this is definitely the current and best collection to use!
I’ll have another boy layout to share later in the month.
Until then, happy scrapping everyone!
