Cocoa Vanilla Studio – Happiness

Hi magpies, Pol here today with two new layouts using the stunning Happiness collection from Cocoa Vanilla Studio. I love the watercolour look of this collection, and the beautiful colours.

Loving Every Second

The basis for this layout started with the amazing Good Vibes rainbow paper, which I may have bought several hundred of lol! I decided it was too full on for a whole background, so I ripped some areas out of another sheet of the same paper, and backed it with the rainbow side of the paper. This gave a beautiful pop of colour, and I layered my elements around these.

I matted my photo with the B side of the Botanical Bliss paper to make it stand out against the bright colours, and adhered it to my page with foam pads. I then added some pieces of ephemera and a flair button, along with some of the clear stickers trailing down my page to the title at the bottom.

I cut a piece of the Little Things paper for my title and stuck it to my page with foam pads. I then layered some pieces of ephemera around the title.

Happy Times

I chose the Good Vibes paper as my background again, I absolutely love this colour and the watercolour effect on it. I ripped two strips of Botanical Bliss paper and used both sides to layer up at the top of my page.

The page then came together very quickly, as I adhered my photo just slightly under the torn paper, and used ephemera pieces down the page underneath my photo. I also layered these with some of the clear stickers and I was quite pleased with the effect this gave, like stamping but without the mess!
