Cocoa Vanilla Studio – Daydream | Sheena Rowlands
Hi there Magpies, Sheena here again x
Today I’m sharing with you 2 layouts made using Cocoa Vanilla Studio – Daydream. Do you ever look at a range & know you need it all? well this range had that effect on me!
As I really wanted all the patterned paper I got the collection pack and in it are 2 of each paper. To me that was a sign to use both of the Daisy Days heath papers together.
I love a bit of fussy cutting and I removed the centre only of the first wreath and then fussy cut all of the second wreath out leaving the edges of the patterned paper intact. I trimmed the white border on the centre only wreath and using lots of foam pads popped it over a circle of All A Flutter patterned paper. Using more foam I added the second wreath on top of the first. I then stuck this all this to the reverse of the second wreath paper to give the blue flowery border.
In the cut out I added my matted photo a journalling card from the Happy Place patterned paper and a title from the die cut title pack. All finished with a few mini flowers and die cuts.
For my next layout I continued with the fussy cutting!
The Good Life.
I loved the colourful Stepping Stones patterned paper and cut a section from it to go in the centre of my layout. Using watercolour paints I extended the lines at each end trying to match the colours. Then I sprinkled a few drops of paint over each line.
Taking the Garden Variety patterned paper and my scissors I fussy cut lots of groups of flowers, I like how they echo lots of the colours in my photo. I matted my photo and adhered it down using foam pads and set about adding a large cluster of flowers below it and a few above the photo.
I used a flair badge as my title and added a journalling label as I wanted to record that this photo was taken during a Hey Little Magpie DT weekend in 2017! How time flies.
I hope these pages inspire you to check out this range & maybe get fussy cutting.
Do share with us your creations over at our FB group as we would love to see them.
Till next time x
