Cocoa Vanilla ‘Legendary’ | Giselle Homer
Hello again Magpies, I do hope you’re all safe and well during this difficult time. I have another layout to share using Cocoa Vanilla’s ‘Legendary’ collection.
I started by doing a little mixed media on white cardstock using the packaging technique, spray inks and stencils. The collection has a clear sticker pack and I added a few paint splashes from that as well.
I cut a couple of long thin strips from some of the patterned papers and glued them into place vertically, just off centre. I backed two photos with white and placed those to the left of the strips, one above the other.
Then I added lots of ephemera from the collection to embellish along the right side of the strips.
I included a couple of word stickers as well, lots of enamel dots and a couple of leaf die cuts that I found in my stash.
I added the title to the left of the photos to make the design more balanced and to separate it from the embellishments on the right. Then and added a few clear sticker phrases below it.
Finally, I placed some puffy arrows and gold ephemera to add a little sparkle to the page!
I hope that a positive part of this lockdown time is that you have more time to scrapbook, I’m trying to make the best of my time at home by crafting more! Stay safe and well everyone, I’ll be back next month until then, happy scrapping.
