Cocoa Vanilla Daydream. Part 2 | Giselle Homer

Hi Magpies,

I hope you’re all staying safe & well during the second layout. I have two layouts to share today that might cheer things up with reminders of Summer!

I started my first layout by dry brushing some watercolour paint to the base to mimic the texture of the hay bales. Then I added some stamping & paint splats in different colours to make it more interesting.

Then I layered my three photos onto a single piece of cardstock & a patterned paper, then placed them just below the centre of the page.

There are so many pieces of ephemera in this collection, which I grouped together on either side of the photos, along with a few fussy cut elements.

I used words from the collection to make the title & added a few phrase stickers too.

My second layout is very simple & uses the paper with a floral wreath. It’s almost a ready made page, something to bear in mind if you don’t have much time to scrapbook!

I fussy cut the centre of the paper & replaced it with another pattern. It took a while to cut it all but I think it was worth it!

I tucked my photo into one of the frames from the ephemera pack & added a couple of word stickers below the photo.

I used two words from the die cut title pack & added a die cut rainbow & heart to finish the page.

I look forward to seeing your layouts on our Facebook page, especially if you have also found a way to put a layout together when you’re short of time!

Until next month, happy scrapping everyone.
