Cocoa Vanilla – Daydream | Jackie Ashton

Hello crafters, Jackie here with 2 layouts using the lovely Cocoa Vanilla – Daydream collection.  This collection from Cocoa Vanilla was released in 2020 and is a lovely collection to work with.  I love the soft tones of all the patterned papers, at first glance it looks  like a flowery, girly, summery collection, but the colours will work with theme.

Finding Eve

Last year we was lucky enough to get away for a few days to Cornwall and visited The Eden Project.  Such an amazing place and one that I would recommend a visit too, I will definitely go back again.

Using Cocoa Vanilla – Garden Variety paper as my background, I add a piece of patterned paper from the b-side of  Cocoa Vanilla – Sun Shower paper, and a piece of the same paper but using the a-side.

I backed my photographs with patterned papers, adding some 3D foam behind each photograph to give some dimensions.

To finish my layout I added a few pieces from the cut apart paper from Cocoa Vanilla – Happy Place, word stickers from Cocoa Vanilla – Accessory Stickers and bits from the Die-Cut pack.

For the title I used stickers from Simple tories – Colour Vibes – Sticker Book.

Happy Days

At one of the Hey Little Magpie DT retreats, we had fun trying on various wigs supplied by Nancy.  We all had such a laugh so I decided to document this photograph of me and Julie in two of them.

 

Using various patterned papers I matted my photograph, and added 3D foam behind my photograph.  In the die cut pack are some frames, so I added those behind my photograph and added some flowers around the edge.

Finishing the layout with word stickers from the Accessory Sticker sheet and die cuts.

For my title I use a phase from the Die Cut pack.
