Christmas Wishes and Wish Season
I’ve so enjoyed using Pinkfresh Studio’s Christmas Wishes collection. The papers are magical and lend themselves to any type of Christmas or Winter layout or project.
Having used a ton of product in last month’s Advent Calendar project, I still had an amazing amount left. Enough for a whole new project and another couple of layouts.
I’ve always loved shadow boxes and anything miniature and this shelved cabinet which I have on the wall in my scrap room was perfect to showcase all of the delightful designs in this collection. I created a little 3D mini scene in each compartment using just scraps and die cuts with a few ornaments thrown in to bring it to life – I even managed to re-cycle some of the packaging.
It reminds me of playing with my doll’s house when little – happy times ! You may not have a shelf just like this – but any frame or box will do – in fact you could create a little miniature winter wonderland just about anywhere !
In fact Fancy Pants Designs Wish Season collection complements Pinkfresh Studios Christmas Wishes beautifully – the colour palettes go so well together so I used some of the papers from the 6×6 pad and a few of the die cuts .
Can you spot the cute little deer ? He’s fromFancy Pants Designs – Wish Season Collection – the Deer Charm Pack and he looks perfect nestled amongst some cut out trees.
There was still enough left for another couple of layouts too . I just love the cute present carrying bear which inspired me to do a layout about my Christmas present shopping. The ‘Currently’ title was cut on my Silhouette Cameo and there are also a few of the Fancy Pants Designs Wish Season die-cuts for good measure.
The simplicity of the paper design required a clean cut look so I didn’t go overboard with embellishments – just a few die-cuts and acrylic shapes to pile up the bear’s presents , a scattering of other die-cuts and some vellum hearts.
I just love this bear !
And Finally – another snowy scene with all my favourite colours for the winter season – red, aqua and white . I cut the snowflakes on my Silhouette cCameo – particularly like the black glitter card stock ones. This one also combines papers from Pinkfresh Studios – Christmas Wishes and Fancy Pants Designs – Wish Season.
Merry Christmas everyone and a Happy New Year !
