Christmas Joy
Hi Everyone!!!
Compare to all my crafty friends I started Christmas preparations very late this year. I was still enjoying Fall and Halloween themes. But it’s getting colder and “it’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas everywhere I go” so I had to finally make something Christmas. So I started with few cards. There is so many nice Christmas collections in the shop that I couldn’t decided which one I want. But finally I choose mixed of two My Mind’s Eye collections – Sugar Plum & Comfort and Joy.
First I made 2 regular rectangle cards. I mixed papers and chipboards from both collections. I cut out the snowflakes from My Mind’s Eye – Sugar Plum – Flurry Glittered Paper and garlands from the back of the My Mind’s Eye – Sugar Plum – Sparkle Glittered Paper.
Next I wanted to make some shaped cards so I made 2 round card. I made some poinsettia flowers from foamiran and again I cut out green leaves from My Mind’s Eye – Comfort and Joy – Evergreen & Holly Glittered Paper. I used Comfort&Joy chipboards again which unfortunately are not available in the shop anymore which means you have them in your stash 🙂
I made another 2 cards in unusual shape. Here I used only Sugar Plum collection – My Mind’s Eye – Sugar Plum – 6X12 Sticker Sheet and the papers. I used here Crate Paper – Maggie Holmes Gather – Mini Tassels and some buttons from American Crafts – All Wrapped Up – Buttons. I added some snowflakes from the past collections and of course flowers – I used the same dies but completely different technique that’s why flowers look completely different.
Finally my last project. On the last craft workshops here in Dublin I bought some chipboard house. After seeing so many beautiful Christmas Houses on Pinterest I decided to make one. Chipboards from Comfort&Joy collection are perfect to this project. Plus lots of gliter, gesso and snow pen.
