Christmas Fun and Games – Bella Blvd – Merry Little Christmas

Hello Magpies, Amy here sharing my last two festive layouts using Bella Blvd’s Merry Little Christmas collection. I’ve used it to documents some photos that were taken during a Christmas Party with friends in 2022.

One of my favourite ways to use multiple photos on a layout is to create a 2×2 grid using 4 small square photos.

I layered up three of the patterned papers from the collection at the top of my layout. They were both sides of the  paper called “From The Heart” and the teal plaid patterned called “Filled With Joy“. I ripped the edges of the paper and really wrinkled up the edges after I stuck them down to add lots of dimension. I love how the other side of the paper peeks through in places.

I used a long title in lots of different fonts. These included the red and green Bella Blvd alpha sticker sheets and the Vicki Boutin gold striped Thickers. To the top of my photos and around the title I added some fun die cuts and stickers. I added some word stickers and some gold sequins to finish my layout.

Here’s a bonus layout I created and wanted to share with you. Its a scrap lift of a layout Sarah made recently. I was so inspired by her stamped stitching border I wanted to have ago at recreating it. I didn’t have the same stamps, So I first used a black pen to add hand drawn stitched before then using my Tim Holtz stitches stamps to add details on top of my lines.

I decorated my page with lots of word stickers and fun ephemera.

To finish my layout I added clusters of enamel dots in matching colours.
