C'est La Vie with Pink Paislee.

Today I’m sharing with you 2 pages I created using the C’est La Vie range from Pink Paislee. I really liked the colours in these papers & decided to scrap a few photos of myself with them.

I really loved the look of paper 10 with its clusters of roses but to get it to fit my colour scheme I watercolored the roses in different shades of pink. I was pleased that the paper took the paint and water and didn’t buckle much at all.

Once dry I added my photos, matted on tissue and papers from the 6×6 pad with ephemera frames, tags and acetate pieces. Finished with some splashes of Hiedi Swapp Colour Shine.

This page was totally inspired by the paper 01 with all its words and phrases. I cut up into all it’s pieces before laying some out in an arrangement I was happy with and I added some of the wash strips and acetate ephemera too. The background paper 09 adds to the horizontal feel.

I kept the title simple with just the number as there are enough words on this page to some up the photo.The cork heart adds texture as does the machine sewing on some of the strips.

I believe that a few of the papers are not in stock but there is still plenty of this gorgeous range left in the shop.
