Celebrate with Elle’s Studio | Sheena Rowlands

Today I’m sharing with you 2 more layouts featuring Elle’s Studio March kit and celebrate ranges. As a family we have had lots to celebrate regardless of lockdown and I wanted to create layouts to remember this.
You are my Lucky Charm.
My Daughter was 21 on St Patricks Day and we took a few funny photos with some old props we have just as a bit of fun. Starting with a circular cut file, I placed it over the left side of my cardstock and trimmed it. Using papers from the celebrate Elle’s Studio paper pack plus some cardstock I filled all the shapes around the circle.
Using distress inks I added a green semi circle onto the cardstock where the cut file would sit and a few of green splats as well. The cut file was stuck down using foam pads for depth. The shamrocks were made 3D with extra leaves added to each.
I added 4 photos over and around the cut file with added photo corners. I tucked in a couple of Elle’s Studio acrylic shamrocks in gold. The title was added from the March kit and perfect for this page.
For my second page I wanted to use more of the March kit cards.
Fun Birthday.
My little Nephew was 2 last month and due to the Lockdown changes we were able to see him on his birthday for the first time, playing and unwrapping his birthday gifts. The Elle’s Studio March kit 3×4 cards are perfect to help document this with their bright bold designs.
I laid the cards out in a grid pattern filling any gaps with patterned papers like the candles from the Celebrate paper stack. I printed 6 photos from the day in different sizes to add to the cards, raising some on foam pads.
Then I embellished the cards using the acrylic balloons, acetate stars, journalling spots and die cut words. I used an acetate number as a template for the large red number 2. The page is quite busy but with the large white border around the outside it balances it out.
