Celebrate Good Times! – Cocoa Vanilla Studio – Bloom and Grow – Wendy Meffan

Hi Everyone! It’s Wendy here gain sharing a second layout using Cocoa Vanilla Studio Bloom and Grow Collection. This time I am documenting some of my oldest friends at our 30th Wedding Anniversary Party. I decide to use two 3×4 photos one portrait and one landscape .

Initially I machine stitched around the edges of the 12×12 card stock. Then I matted the two photos using paper from the A5 paper pad. I then played around with their position on the page and decided to create a grid. I used more papers from the paper pad and cut them into scalloped strips, I distressed their edges and placed them to each side of the photos. I then machine stitched them to the layout across their top edges. I embellished them using floral ephemera, as well as fussy cutting some word strips and birds from the A5 paper pad.

I embellished the photos with Die Cut ephemera pieces and puffy heart stickers. Finally I fussy cut four corners of floral clusters from a paper in the A5 paper pad and added them to the corners of the layout.
