Carta Bella – Silly Goose Collection | Jackie Ashton

Hi Jackie here,  with my 2^nd blogpost for April using the lovely collection from Carta Bella – Silly Goose collection to make a 6×8 mini album.  This 6×8 album is designed using a combination of pocket pages, out of the pocket pages and various inserts.

To create this album, I’ve used pocket-style pages to keep everything neat and easy to flip through. These are perfect for holding photos, journaling cards, and patterned paper from the collection.

I’ve also included a 2×2 pocket page insert, that I’ve created mini flip-ups, and decorated them.  I created 6 mini  flip-ups and have left the remaining spaces blank so that mini photos can be added at a later date.

There are also some tags, which I’ve created using patterned papers, stickers and die cuts from the collection, which will be great to add to any of the 6×8 pages, as the back are blank they can also be used as journaling spots, in the pocket pages and can be easily removed.

I’ve created a few 6×8 pages, which can hold a photograph or can just be used as a filler page throughout the album.

and also 6×8 flip up, which is blank inside, but has too to hold multiply photographs or journalling.

So far, the pages are coming together in a soft, cohesive way, with plenty of room to grow. This approach keeps the album flexible while still allowing the charm of the Little Goose collection to shine through.

I’m looking forward to adding more pages to grow this album.
